Research shows CHROs confident about their influence
A new survey of chief HR officers (CHROs) has found that the overwhelming majority of them feel that they have never been more influential than they are now.
This survey was put together on behalf of International Workplace Group. The results show that 88% of them think that the level of influence they wield within their companies is the highest it has ever been. When it comes to how they are using that influence, 96% said that the main areas were recruitment of the best people, productivity and profitability. Meanwhile, 95% said that they were influencing the culture of the organisation and the retention of employees.
The results of the survey are further proof of how essential HR is to organisations in the modern world. That is true whether it is handled internally or by outsourcing it to HR services in Northampton or elsewhere.
Another finding of the survey was that 82% of CHROs now work in close tandem with their organisation’s C-suite. This is yet more evidence that HR issues are being prioritised at the highest level.
One of those is the need for more flexible working, which 69% of CHROs named as a key issue when it comes to keeping the best employees. The International Workplace Group CEO Mark Dixon told Personnel Today that:
“CHROs are at the forefront of this transformation, ensuring that hybrid working not only supports employee wellbeing and progress, but also drives long-term business success.”
A total of over 500 CHROs from all over the country took part in the survey.
